These Warranty Terms (“Warranty”) explain the rights and obligations of customers who purchase AEON Laser products (“Products”) from Suzhou AEON Laser Technology Co., Ltd (“AEON Laser”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
These terms apply to CO₂ laser machines, CO₂ laser tubes, and any other products supplied by AEON Laser or its authorized distributors.
1. Statutory Warranty Rights for EU Consumers
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you are entitled to a mandatory statutory warranty under Directive (EU) 2019/771 and applicable national laws:
· All new products are covered by a 2-year legal guarantee from the date of delivery.
· If a product is defective or does not function as advertised, you are entitled to request:
· Free repair, or replacement with a new product.
· If repair or replacement is not possible within a reasonable time or would cause significant inconvenience, you may request:
· A price reduction, or a full refund.
These rights apply automatically and cannot be limited or excluded.
2. Warranty for Business Customers (B2B)
If you purchase our products as a business (e.g. distributor, reseller, or company):
· EU consumer protection rules do not apply.
· Warranty terms for B2B purchases are defined separately in your sales agreement or distributor contract
3. Warranty Claim Procedure
To make a warranty claim under your statutory rights:
1. Contact us or your authorized distributor promptly after discovering the defect.
2. Provide:
· Product model and serial number.
· Proof of purchase (invoice or delivery note).
· A description of the defect and usage conditions.
3. AEON Laser or the authorized distributor will assess the claim and inform you of your available remedies under applicable law.
4. Exclusions
The statutory warranty does not apply to:
· Consumable components (e.g. mirrors, lenses, belts) unless defective at delivery.
· Wear and tear from normal usage.
· Damage caused by:
· Incorrect installation or operation,
· Improper maintenance,
· Using incompatible materials,
· Unauthorized modifications or repairs,
· Overdriving, overheating, or improper cooling of CO₂ laser tubes.
· Not knowing and not implementing any informations included in User Manual
Note: CO₂ laser tubes are consumable components with a limited expected lifespan, depending on usage, maintenance, and cooling.
The statutory 2-year legal warranty applies to defects or premature failures present at the time of delivery.
Normal performance degradation of the laser tube over time is not considered a defect and is not covered by warranty.
5. Products Sold Through Authorized Distributors
· If you purchase from an authorized distributor, your purchase contract is with the distributor, not directly with AEON Laser.
· Warranty claims should be submitted through the distributor where possible.
· AEON Laser works closely with its distributors to ensure statutory rights are respected.
6. Governing Law
These Warranty Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China.
However, if you are a consumer residing in the European Union, the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence will also apply, and nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
