FAQS

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Models & Features

1. Which models are included in the Redline series?
The Redline series includes the following models:

Desktop models: MIRA5 S, MIRA7 S, MIRA9 S
Stand models: Nova10 Elite, Nova10 Super, Nova14 Elite, Nova14 Super, Nova16 Elite, and Nova16 Super
2. How fast are the Redline machines?
• MIRA series (5/7/9 S): Up to 1200 mm/s with 5G acceleration (glass tube) and up to 4000 mm/s (RF tube).
• Nova Super series (10/14/16): RF models reach 2000 mm/s with 5G acceleration; hybrid RF + glass tube models reach 4200 mm/s with 8G acceleration, powered by AC servo motors.
3. How precise are the Redline machines?
Redline machines achieve ≤0.01 mm positioning accuracy thanks to rigid steel unibody frames, Hiwin linear guides, and lightweight laser heads that reduce vibration.
4. What are the key safety features?
• Fully enclosed Class 1 laser design with interlocked doors
• Clean Pack design protects optics and rails from dust
• Status and error indicators warn of system problems
5. Do the Redline machines have autofocus and positioning cameras?
Yes. All models include integrated autofocus heads, and selected models feature an LB (LightBurn) positioning camera for accurate job alignment and additional workflow features.
6. Can they engrave cylindrical objects?
Yes. Optional rotary attachments (smart roller or 3-jaw chuck) allow 360° engraving on bottles, glasses, tumblers, and other cylindrical items.
7. Can the Redline machines engrave on metal?
• Direct engraving is possible on anodized and painted metals.
• For bare metals, a marking spray (e.g., Thermark) is recommended for durable, high-contrast results.
8. What are the mirror sizes?
• MIRA: 2 × φ25 mm and 1 × φ20 mm
• Redline MIRA S: 3 × φ25 mm
• NOVA Super & Elite (including Redline versions): 3 × φ25 mm
9. Can I install different lenses in the laser head?
Yes, our machines support interchangeable lenses. Lenses installed in the designated mount positions work seamlessly with auto-focus.

MIRA: 2.0" standard, 1.5" optional
NOVA: 2.5" standard, 2" optional
Redline MIRA S: 2.0" standard, 1.5" & 4" optional
Redline NOVA Elite & Super: 2.5" standard, 2" & 4" optional

Tip: Shorter lenses are ideal for fine engraving, while longer lenses are better for cutting thicker materials.
10. Why choose Aeon Redline over other brands?
• Superior dynamic performance: up to 4200 mm/s engraving speed and 8G acceleration
• Durability: rigid steel frames ensure long-term precision
• Convenience: all-in-one systems with built-in cooling, exhaust, and air assist
• Technically advanced machines that keep you ahead of competitors
11. Are Redline machines suitable for small workshops or offices?
Yes. MIRA5 S, MIRA7 S, and MIRA9 S are ideal for offices and small studios thanks to their compact, enclosed design and integrated chiller, exhaust, and air assist.

2. Materials & Applications

12. What materials can Aeon Redline lasers cut and engrave?
They can process wood, acrylic, leather, textiles, paper, rubber, selected plastics, and coated metals. Cutting thickness depends on tube power and material density (for example, acrylic up to ~30 mm on high-power models).
13. What is the lifespan of the laser tube?
Glass CO₂ tubes: Approximately 5,000-8000hours, depending on usage and duty cycle.
RF metal tubes: Approximately 20,000 hours under normal operating conditions.

Note: Actual lifespan may vary based on factors such as usage frequency, power settings, and maintenance.
14. Where can I learn to use the machine effectively?
You can learn through Aeon Laser online tutorials and videos, distributor-organized workshops and trainings, and by joining user communities that share projects and settings.

3. Buying Guide

15. Does the machine include a chiller, exhaust fan, and air compressor?
Yes. All Redline machines are designed as all-in-one systems with a built-in chiller, exhaust fan, and air compressor so you can start working immediately.
16. Which software is recommended for designing projects?
For best results, use design software such as CorelDRAW or AutoCAD to create artwork, then import your files into RDWorks or LightBurn to set parameters and prepare laser jobs.
17. I’m a beginner. How do I choose the right machine?
Please provide:
1) The main materials you will process
2) The maximum material size
3) The maximum cutting thickness you need
4) Your typical production thickness and workload

With this information, we will recommend the most suitable Redline model and configuration.
18. Can I finance or lease Aeon Redline machines?
Yes. Many European distributors offer leasing and installment plans. Please contact your local distributor for region-specific financing options.

4. Setup & Maintenance

19. Are the Redline machines easy to maintain?
Yes. Redline machines are designed for tool-free maintenance with quick-access mirrors and magnetic lens carriages. After routine maintenance, alignment is usually not required.
20. I don’t know how to use the machine. What should I do?
Every machine comes with English manuals. Additional support is available through our website resources, your local distributor, and remote assistance via phone, WhatsApp, or email. Don’t worry—it’s a smooth learning curve.
21. My doorway is too narrow. Can the machine body be disassembled?
Yes. NOVA models can be disassembled into two sections. The minimum body height after disassembly is approximately 75 cm, making it easier to move through narrow doors or staircases.

5. Warranty & Support

22. What is your warranty policy?
• Mechanical & electrical components: 2 years
• Glass laser tubes: 1 year
• RF metal laser tubes: 18 months
• Guide rails: 2 years
• Laser tube, mirrors, and focus lens: 6 months
• RECI tubes: 12 months

Warranty issues are handled with prompt parts replacement to keep your machine running. Exact terms may vary by region.
23. Is local service and spare parts availability ensured in Europe?
Yes. Aeon Laser Europe maintains local warehouses with short delivery times—often within one week—and works with certified service technicians to support customers across Europe.
24. How do I get technical support if needed?
Technical support is provided through local European distributors as well as directly from Aeon Laser Europe. We offer remote diagnostics and, if required, on-site service to quickly resolve issues.
